Four Letter Words...

Now I know what you are all thinking...yes it's true my favorite four letter word is FREE!!!!! Did I fool you? Now, I must admit that the other "F" word runs a close second, but with two young boys I have to really refrain from using it...well, try my best. Sometimes it is just needed-like when you have your kids in the car and some idiot cuts in front of you...you all get the picture!

I know that most of you are probably saying that nothing is ever free...well I tend to agree, BUT I still love the whole buy one, get one FREE! Or going to a garage sale and them saying "just take it"-yup-FREE! I went to 7-11 with my kids one morning and they were celebrating "7-11 Day" so the kids got slurpees and cookies and balloons-FREE!!!! Granted, it was 8 o'clock in the morning, but once in a while won't hurt them..:))

Now, please don't misunderstand, I could go on and on about four letter words, but it might get a little wordy...

My Family...

FIRST GRADE

I absolutely adore my family! My husband and my two boys ages 3 and 6. I love watching and listening to my kids-they have such wild imaginations! Our oldest started first grade today-I am sure that he is having a great time. I can't wait to hear all about it! Of course, our 3 year old keeps asking when his big brother will be home...he has been playing all day with various things, but mostly with an old backpack...he wants to go to school too! I'm sure you can picture it...I give him the backpack this morning and now it has toys, books, shoes...you name it-he's got it in there just toting it around the house...too cute!

THE BIKE INCIDENT

Our 3 year old decided about two weeks ago that he no longer needed training wheels on his bike. At first he just kind of "walked" on his bike until he finally just started pedaling. He is doing great on it-even going off of jumps like his big brother! He did fall the other day though...as luck would have it on the only piece of glass in our neighbors driveway...lots of blood and seven stitches later in his hand...he's fine though and loves to show off his booboo. Yes, I do believe this is the first of many more booboos with this one-that's okay-at least he's active! I won't have to worry about him getting carpal tunnel from too many video games!

WORN OUT CLOTHES

I absolutely love the fact that my kids wear out their clothes before they outgrow them! My wallet doesn't neccessarily enjoy it, but I think it's great!
